AIRPORT TRANSFER

Currently there are no organized shuttle services from any of the airports in the Dominican Republic to Las Terrenas.
CLIENTS HAVE THREE OPTIONS: |

1. Van/Taxi Service:
We can reserve a Van or Taxi service to pick up at either Samana, Las Americas, Santo Domingo or Punta Cana Airport. There is a maximum of EIGHT passengers. The cost ONE WAY will be shared by the number of passengers you put in the Van or Taxi. We will provide a worksheet for the retreat organizer to collect: the names, airport, arrival & departure times with flight numbers, of all the travelers so we can arrange them into groups for van pick-up / drop-off . This will be a private Van or Taxi going directly to Monte Placido and not making other stops along the way. Inquire if you would need a lager van for more that 8 people airport pick up. Payment in cash only to driver.

2. Airport Car Rental:
The most cost effective choice for group transportation would be to rent a car at the airport.
An average rental car will cost between $45 - $55 dollars a day.
A round trip shuttle to Santo Domingo would be the same as the cost for about two days of renting a car, with the added advantage of having your own transportation throughout your stay.
With your own vehicle at Monte Placido, your'e free to explore the many beautiful beaches, enjoy Las Terrenas nightlife, and go on excursions on your own time without paying for a taxi.

3. Public Transportation -Bus from Santo Domingo:
For small groups traveling together or individuals coming into Santo Domingo Airport, you have the option of taking the bus.
From the airport it is a 20 minute and $25 dollar taxi ride to TRANSPORTE LAS TERRENAS.
The bus will cost $500 pesos (about $8.00 dollars). It goes directly to Las Terrenas. Departures from the station on the highway: 9am, 10am 2:10pm, 3:30pm, 6:30pm.
**Seating is limited and you need to arrive early to make a reservation in person as they will not always take a reservation by phone.
